HELP my baby won't let me put her down

in October 2013 Moms
My 5 weeks old DD will not let me put her down for a minute and I'm worried that if I give in this will become a habit and I won't be able to do anything like even eat :-( I know they say you can't spoil a newborn but I'm worried. I have her in a carrier so I could finally get off the couch. Any advice, words of encouragement, I'm a FTM

    Deft get a wrap. My son got super fussy today out of nowhere. Puked up his lunch, wouldn't burp, hated on the swing, wasn't having it in my arms, and I threw him in my Boba wrap as a last resort. He fussed for another 5 minutes and then passed out

    Ditto here. Moby wrap and just try to enjoy it. Just the past couple days my LO has liked laying on the floor on her back kicking. Tolerated it longer today. Gave me enough time to do laundry and pick up around the house some

    I had this issue yesterday , she wanted to snuggle up against mama .. This morning more of the same I had plans to visit my sick aunt but thankfully after I fed/changed her I was able to put her in her mamaroo w the paci .. Jumped in for a quick shower ... It was literally 8mins ... Then I did another quick feed /paci /music and blow dryer sound kept her clam ... Gave her a bath / change of clothes and off I went to see my aunt. She needed a lot of attention but in the end she behaved well at my aunts ! I am so relieve!d I guess all I can say is just hang in there try everything or a combination of something is bound to work. But def enjoy your little one in the process ... By the way my house is a little messy! Can't get to it all done ... But there is always tomorrow!

    That's what you get for being super comfy. If I could, I would lay in my bed all day. I love it here. Same thing with baby. Embrace it.
