  Yes because he gets uncomfortable if he has gas trapped. He's a very calm baby and if he gets fussy the first thing I do is pick him up and see if he needs to burp and usually he does.

  Not as often - and mostly just when he gets really fussy during nursing.  Most of the time if I sit him up to burp him it just comes up on its own.  Hurray gravity!

  Yeah, he has to burp or he gets bad gas or spits up all over. Heck, he spits up all over even when I burp him sometimes.

  I either burp at 2 oz or at the end of his 4 oz bottle bur no matter what I do he still spits up a lot.

  He burps on his own most of the time when I pick him up. But if he doesn't I help him.

  During the day I do, generally only for a minute. She often burps on her own too just from sitting.
