Was your "expected due date" the same as what the doctors "expected due date was"

I had mine on the 20th and found out I was 8 weeks exactly that day! I was 2 days off from my expected due date. Thought it was july 4 (independence day), now it's July 2, a day after my 30th bday!
I brought the FOB, thought he was going to get kicked out because the nurse doing the ultrasound kept telling him he needs to relax and let her do her job lol
I had the vaginal one, not sure if they do the jelly on the belly like the movies anymore but my mom was shocked that I didn't have it on the belly.
I was nervous when she was looking around to find the baby and then listening for the heartbeat...We found the baby got 3 pics of it and the heartbeat was really good!
I was thrilled that my obgyn (met for first time and liked) told me that I have just a 5% chance of miscarriage now so I'm super excited to keep on this healthy path to bring a cute baby in the world! Also we are having 1 baby not 2-3 which I guess they can find out through 1st ultrasound.
I didn't like getting a shot because they bruised my arm:( I loved knowing that our baby so far was healthy!
Was your "expected due date" the same as what the doctors "expected due date was" Yes, we were timing and temping and everything the Dr. had to include the US showed the same exact info we had.
Did you get an ultrasound? Did they use jelly on the belly or vaginal? I am 8w 1d so we had the dildo cam. I only got an ultrasound because I was really nervous after a MC in June
Did you bring the Father of the baby (FOB)? Yep. He will go to all appts until he leaves for class in Feb.
What did you find out? Nothing I didn't already know except this little one has a heartbeat now and is growing great
What did you like and not like? I didn't like the wait in the waiting room. Everything else was great.

ohhmmmmmgggeee dildo cam that's so awesome! I already had one transvaginal and I'm going in for my second tomorrow. I will be giggling to myself the whole time.
I thought I was 7 weeks 1 day from LMP but baby measured 6 wks 3 dys so I was 5 days off. And they said that was fine.

They tried the jelly on belly but all we could see was the sack. So she did vaginal.

Yes and my mom!
What did you find out?
Baby is doing good. Heard heartbeat at 130. Will go back in 2 weeks to establish preg with doc.
What did you like and not like?
The belly u/s is uncomfortable, especially if you have to pee. They push on your stomach to try to find baby. Loved seeing and hearing baby.
Was your "expected due date" the same as what the doctors "expected due date was" My first appointment is not until Dec 11th. My EDD is July 24th, but I will find out more during my first appointment.

What did you find out? Nothing yet
What did you like and not like? Hope I don't have any dislikes.
2) No ultrasound. We will not have one until 20 weeks unless there are complications
3) DH was working. I brought a friend along to entertain DD.
4) Found out nothing at this point. The lab was closed, so I actually have to go back to do the bloodwork still. Next real appointment isn't until Christmas eve, when we will hopefully hear the heartbeat.
5) Didn't like hearing that we have to wait another month to know that LO2 is doing alright in there. With my last pregnancy, we heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks! Not sure why our current office said we need to wait until 10 weeks. That extra 4 weeks is killer.
-Our due date matched theirs! So July 1st is the big expected date.
-Vaginal ultrasound and they gave us a picture. Baby's heartbeat was nice and strong- 150.
-My husband did come and probably always will.
-I loved our nurses and doctor. They made us feel like family.

-My doc didn't really give me an EDD, but according to the calculator i'm July 7, 2014 I was 6w2d at my first u/s which was the same as where i thought i was. First u/s was Nov 13.
Did you get an ultrasound? Did they use jelly on the belly or vaginal? I had 2 vaginal u/s...one on a portable and there were 2 sacs so I immediately though twins (there was OH S***), but turned out to be a clot that's no big deal.
Did you bring the Father of the baby (FOB)? FOB came with me. He thought it was cool to see HB...was still a little shaken by the twin thing the whole time...lol
What did you find out? Saw HB @ 97 which was good...found out I have a bicornate uterus and baby is on left side...could be high risk come 3rd tri, but hopefully all will go well.
What did you like and not like? I didn't like the vag exam, but who does. Ive had spotting and brown "bleeding" since Nov. 12 and doc told me i would bc of my uterus or something....i didn't like the fact that i was sick that i couldn't think of all the questions i wanted to ask her. i'm now compiling a list for the next visit.
Technology we did an early apt due to past mc just to see if it was all ok. we will have a full full apt the first week of dec...

Predicted July 8 they will reassess at the next apt.

yes, he is super excited and doesn't want to miss a thing! (when we got married he asked how soon we could start trying).
What did you find out?
at 6w1day i had an odd shaped sac which gives us about 50/50 chance along with past issues, no heartbeat (but it was early). blood work showed my levels were where they should be. Progesterone supplements are working.
went back - 7w2d-(due to bleeding) we have a heartbeat (~130), the sac is round like it should be and everything is ok! :-) and the best part... our risk has dropped dramatically due to the heartbeat and good shape!
What did you like and not like?
Liked: All the good news and seeing the little flicker of the heartbeat.
Disliked: the 6w apt was scary with the 50/50 chance, second check my normal ob was not in so we had a different dr and i was so scared we were going to mc. Hearing the official first apt will involved more blood work with a bigger needle, and asking my family history (I'm not sure what part of it specifically so i have to figure that out quick!)

Pregnancy confirmation appointment on 10/31. 1st ultrasound (dating) on 11/13 & 1st OB appt on 11/16.
Was your "expected due date" the same as what the doctors "expected due date was"? No. My EDD based on LMP was 6/16, but the dating ultrasound moved me to 7/5
Did you get an ultrasound? Did they use jelly on the belly or vaginal? Yes, transvaginal
Did you bring the Father of the baby (FOB)? My husband came to the ultrasound appointment to see the baby. I went alone to the other 2.
What did you find out? EDD was moved. Baby's HB was 119ish (we saw it).
What did you like and not like? I like the appointments. They are reassuring and I love my practice (4 OB's, 2 NP's, and 1 midwife)
