Anyone in here use Crinone during 1st tri?

in 2nd Trimester
I took the crinone b/c I had a short LP and it helped. I'm currently 7w3d and my Dr (the specialist) said to stay on it until 8 weeks but my OB said to stay on it until 10 weeks. I have no previous issues with miscarriage. When did you stop taking it? TIA!

    I took it with my first pregnancy, under the care of an RE.  I was on it until either 9 or 10 weeks.  It can't hurt to stay on it as long as your OB says.

    I will warn you though, after a few weeks it will start to come out in clumps (sorry to be so direct) but it scared the crap out of me when it happened since I had no one warn me about it.

    Its pretty clumpy now LOL. Thanks! Wasn't sure if I should listed to my RE or the OB. I have enough to get me to 8w3d or I have to order another 2 weeks worth.

    My RE told me I could stop at 9-10 weeks but my OB wanted me to stay on it until 13 weeks. I don't see what it would hurt to stay on it two more weeks if your insurance covers the cost.

    My insurance doesn't cover it and a 2 week supply is $260 =(

    With both rounds of ivf and my fet I took it until 10ish weeks.

    Under the advice of my RE, I took it until almost 10 weeks.  My CNM said it wouldn't hurt to stay on it longer, but was fine with me stopping when the RE told me to. 

    P.S. It was ALWAYS clumpy for me, but would never come out on it's own ... I had to "clean it out" daily.  Sorry about TMI, but my RE said that sometimes it can get "backed up" and can cause cramping and discomfort.  I wasn't about to tack that onto the horrible MS I was already having!
