Books on solids

Are you reading anything specific?

I just requested a book at the library by Annabel Carmel called baby food. My doctor said it was a good one!

  • I am partially through BLW, it's meh IMO. I felt like you could google this method instead of needing to purchase it.

I felt this way about the BLW book for the most part.  It's just so common-sensicle, I'm a little sad that I spent the money on the book.  I read somewhere else on the bump that the BLW cookbook is perhaps a better investment.

My MIL got me 100 Best Baby Food Purees. It is okay. Some good recipies but she puts butter in a lot of them which seems strange at this early stage.
That's just weird and gross to me.  To me, purees are any food you want to puree up but once you start getting into more than 2 ingredients, that's more a finger food situation.  I don't get the need for recipes is what I'm saying :)
