ER trip round 2 for Jackson. Not sure what he's just been escalating in painful cries more consistently since his shots Friday. Nurse hotline advised we go in. Will update later. Thank you ladies

Update: we are currently waiting on results of ultrasound and x ray. He's had a myriad of symptoms since his shots Friday mainly increasingly long screaming fits intermittently throughout the day but also some blood in diaper and very jelly mucousy poops then no poops at all today when his norm is 3-5. Called the nurse hotline and they recommended we come to the ER. They're mainly checking for intessecuption which can be a reaction to the rotovirus vaccine. He's been calm since his last 30 min of non stop screaming around 5. Will update again with results. Thank you again for the T&P

Last update: so the results all came back clear. So we basically waited 6 hours in the waiting room for them to tell me he's just colicky. I don't know if I quite agree since other than him being three months it doesn't quite fit the bill and don't feel that explains him waking up screaming anytime he wakes and the time period it started happening. However they did confirm he has thrush which I've asked my ped like 3 appointments ago(month in a half maybe) and he said if was just milk tongue. Doc at the ER said definitely thrush so that may be the cause of our nursing issues. And I've read if the yeast gets into the gut it can cause gas which he's been having a lot of lately(I wonder if he even has a dairy sensitivity since that's what we've been thinking is causing it.) it was nice I told the ER doc apnout speaking with his ped and he said always go with your gut you know your baby better than anyone which was reassuring about the thrush but in my gut I don't feel like its colic. Anyway we got a Rx for nystatin and we will see how he does today with the grassiness and screaming and hopefully I won't have to leave work early again. Those kind of calls make it SOO difficult to be at work and just reinforce how much I want to SAH.
