two + word sentences?

Is your LO stringing multiple words together to form a "sentence" yet? My DD has always been slightly behind in the verbal world, especially as compared to my DS when he was her age, and I'm just trying to gauge what is "normal" for this age. My DD has a relatively expansive vocabulary (50+ words) and seems to understand virtually everything we tell her, but we are still at one word statements. Just curious to hear from others.

Daisy says three or four word sentences like "leave me alone" "look there's a (blank)" ect. She just starting doing this the last couple of weeks

My son is very verbal. And every week we have a new sentence. Last week it was "I can't reach it". He says "Let's have breakfast" when something doesn't work he says "Oh it's broken".

He repeats back often what we say and they he starts to use it to communicate. He is often mistaken for being older because of her verbal language and his height (people always tell me he's so tall although he's average for his age)

My LO vocab sounds similar, I swear he knows a million words . And repeats everything... he can say 2 or 3 word statements like sit down, or cracker please. And 3 to 4 word sentences like lennox's new socks or moms grandma sweater (thanks DH). It is fun to his vocab grow each day!

Madison is behind verbally. She is currently working with a speech instructor once a week b/c she only has 12-13 words at 20 months. She does say "what's this, what's that, and Hi Dadda" The rest of her vocabulary is just once word. She doesn't have a speech therapist b/c her oral motor skills are actually above target, just behind on vocab. They think she will have a vocabulary explosion soon, hope they are right! Most of the tantrums come from her being unable to communicate with us.

L is just starting to put 3-4 word sentences together. The longest he has said has been 6 words, but that was just one. This is a new occurrence just in the past two weeks.

Off the top of my head, he does have a few sentences...Be right back...I like that...I got that...I did that...Let's go bye bye...All done...More pretty please...his vocabulary is really exploding. I don't think "sentences" at this age are the "norm".

Kate is talking a lot. Today we were on the way to Target and she said, "Let's get Sister at cool!" It blows me away because Samantha wasn't saying nearly as much at her age.

We are still at one word phrases. "All done" and "Thank you" are the most common two-word phrases but they probably sound like one word to her. We are not very verbal over here.

Allison never stops talking. She has a lot of 3-4 word sentences - her favorite being "Mommy, sit down!" - and is just starting to pull together longer ones. They aren't perfect ("Doggy walk outside mommy please") but they are there.

Honestly, the girl never stops talking! She even babbles in her sleep!

Yes, he has started putting a few words together. His most common one is "Where go?" (where did it go) or "Where Daddy?" He's said "I do it" and "I go poop" a few times too. He's starting to get it!

This is L's 4th month in Speech Therapy. We only get 1 hour twice a month. His vocab started increasing a lot in the two weeks before we started, so I don't know if this is a natural progression or ST helped. He now says 50+ words, lots of 2 and 3 word phrases and some 4 & 5 word sentences.

I am excited for this verbal stage to come. We are definitely only hearing single words and not very many of those. And usually only when prompted except for a very select few, "bubble" which she uses for the actual thing or any circles, dots, or spheres being the main one she says without prompting. She does gesture, grunt, etc to communicate so I would say we typically know what she's getting at. She even has special noises she makes for certain things, like for a dog, an elephant, or a cup/drink. She has her speech therapy evaluation on Monday (finally). She is so bright and seems to understand nearly everything we say. I just want to hear that sweet voice of hers more often and know what's going though her head. One day I may regret that but for now I long for it.

We've had a few two or three word phrases here and there, but the things she says consistently are typically one word. We get "downstairs please", which sounds more like "Das pee", "I did it", "Mommy work", "Daddy work"m and most recently "Candy cane please". LOL
