Re: ~~Second Tri Check-in~~ 11/19/13
QOTD: I am a physical therapist. I am off work due to the pregnancy and unsure when I'll be going back. Before finding out about the triplets I had just intended to take a year off. Now, it makes no sense for me to go back and pay for 4 kids in childcare. Hoping to work part-time after about 2 years or so to keep my license active.
First pregnancy - DS 01-Apr-09;
3rd cycle Clomid/IUI after 2 years TTC
TTC #2 since ~June 2010
IUI #1 & 2 - Clomid/IUI - BFN

EDD: March 22, 2013
It's triplets!!
I hope everyone is doing well!

Hi All! I will be 20 weeks on Friday and have my a/s that morning. Been feeling pretty good overall, just starting to get my appetite back but other things are starting to kick in (back/hip aches, heartburn, etc).
I currently work in a public accounting firm as an audit manager (licensed CPA). I defeinitely have to go since I make about 75% of household income. My firm is amazingly flexible and since I've been here for a while will accomadate a flex schedule. My plan is to work at home 2 days/wk and hubby will be at home 1 day a week (he works for my firm in the admin group). The other 2 days will be my in laws/day care.

Me: 33, DH: 39 Unexplained Infertility
4 IUIs (chlomid) in 2013 which resulted in DS born in April 2014

ER March 9: 26 eggs retrieved, 19 mature and 17 fertilized, 8 made it to genetic testing, 4 normal!
FET #1 5/31 = BFN
FET#2 7/26 = BFP!
I'm 17 weeks, 4 days, and we have our amnio and anatomy scan with the perinatologist on Friday. We are excited to see baby and find out his/her gender, but also scared and nervous. I'm pretty sure I'm starting to feel occasional movement already, since it's easier to recognize this time around after having had DS.
I used to work in human resources, but my job was very stressful - like I worked for a terrible boss who kept getting us sued and the work environment was atrocious. DH and I felt the stress was not helping our efforts to get (and stay) pregnant. So I became a SAHM last year, even though DS is in school. I babysit a little 2-year old girl part-time and have been trying to write a novel for the past year and a half. But it's pretty slow going lately! I am excited to be able to stay home with this LO after having gone back to work full-time after having DS.

Qotw- I work as a business manager for a division within a large health system. I will definitely be returning as I earn a larger percentage of our income and I carry the benefits. My husband has a super long commute and tough hours so he is planning to look for something at nights and part time. If that doesn't happen- I have a daycare that my friend uses that is close by as a back up.

I even ate cereal with milk and Greek yogurt this week - I haven't been able to eat either of those without vomiting until now! My belly gets sore at night if I don't have a pillow under it, but other than that, I'm good.
I am unemployed right now. I was working as a product manager for credit cards but got laid off two months ago. Most likely, I will stay home with the baby once she's born. I've always wanted to be a SAHM and that seems to be the direction I'm headed!
