update on the weird poop...

The good news is that Ava is fine - a bit constipated and she's on some special medication for it but there was no blood in her stool. They tested it and said no blood but the color is still a mystery. I have never seen anything like it, and I know that my H and I did not give her any funky colored foods. Our sitter was with her the day before the bright poop started so perhaps she gave her something weird....she is coming tonight to babysit so I'm going to ask her about it. 

Thanks for all your good thoughts! We were SO worried!!

    I am glad everything turned out well.  I hope the sitter has some suggestions on what it could have been.

    So I talked to the sitter and she said the only thing she gave her was a pouch of strawberry and something else that she found in the pantry. She seemed a little freaked out when I told her. Then she said if it had been her son she would have packed him up right away and taken him to the hospital. Ugh, thanks lady for making me feel bad for waiting overnight to take her to the dr. :/
    So basically it's still a mystery as to what caused the red color.

    That's a good thought but nope we have no crayons in the house at all. We let her have some at a restaurant one time and she tried to eat them.
