What are some of new things (behaviors, "tricks", etc.) your LO has started doing recently? I know someone asked a couple of weeks ago, but I bet we all have something new LO has done in the meantime.

    My LO is now able to tripod for 10-20 seconds at a time. (He's a late baby born July 5th so he's a bit behind compared to the June babies.)

    Dd has started rolling around the living room. She's also found her laugh-she's always laughing now

    I feel like DD is behind a lot of the other babies here (I don't care much though, I life my immobile little girl). She is finally rolling over and grabbing things and putting them in her mouth. I was holding her facing out while at the gap yesterday and she kept grabbing at things on the racks and putting them in her mouth.

    Blowing raspberries, sticking out his tongue as a greeting, reaching his arms up when he sees a toy coming, rolling over consistently rather than sporadically, getting a toy that is out of his reach (as opposed to right next to him, which he has been doing for a while.)

    Oh, and this morning, pooping in the tub.  Hopefully he won't be repeating that though!  :-O 

    Loving this age--seems like he is doing so many new things all at once!

    I have a grabby goober and his hands are so big nothing is safe. He will roll tummy to back but that's about it...and he flirts like crazy

    She still hasn't rolled over, but she can sit up unassisted now for 10+ minutes. Go figure. I swear she makes new sounds/faces every day it seems.

    I wouldn't say that's behind.  My LO can sit great IF he's supported, but not so great on the tripod yet.

    Sometimes I feel like my LO is behind on some of the things my nephew could do at LO's age (he babbled more, etc.), but then I think, as long as LO is constantly doing new things, who cares?

    Aww, too cute, smiling at everyone, I bet.   I wonder if we have a flirter on our hands too.  Apparently, DH caught LO trying to reach out and hold the hand of one of the baby girls at daycare!

    I taught my lil guy how to stick his tongue out this week!! :D he is also another one that will sit unassisted for long periods of time but refuses to roll.

    He LOVES holding the hands of other babies...which is why we have 3 nose fridas :)

    Today he started touching my face.  It was so cute!! Every time he would do it, he would giggle. He also lifts his arms up a little if we hand him a toy, or go to pick him up.  

    LO is also obsessed with my iPhone!  There's a rattle game on the white noise app I have.  He holds onto my phone when it's on, and if I take it from him, he screams and cries!!  He's so easy going, so I can't believe he reacts like this!! I guess he loves technology, just like his Daddy!!

    M has been rolling back to belly for weeks, but would always get so mad once she was on her belly she would forget how to roll back. This week, tummy time is more enjoyable, but she has also remembered how to roll back...maybe that's why she likes it now, she isn't stuck? Also, sitting unassisted for a few min at a time. She will play with stuffed animals or a toy for a little while before toppling over. Anyone else's LO not putting their arms out to break their fall? Is this normal? If I am not sitting right there to catch her she will literally just fall flat on her face. Every. Single. Time.image

    My lo is moving around like crazy at night in his bed. It's like the Olympics in there. He rolled back to front once and is rolling front to back more. My favorite thing he does is grab my face a suck on it! He is giving me kisses!!! He won't do it to anyone else yet. Poor dh is dying for a kiss.

I am not sure if it's an accident or if he likes how big and red the End button is.

    Lo just figured out how to roll both ways and is starting to be able to sit with out the support of his arms... Only for a few seconds but definitely improving. He has also mastered the half push up and is grabbing everything in sight!

    @daffy2k my guy face plants, he's a good roller but not so much a sitter. I think they wouldn't know yet about how to break their fall other than with their face?

    @wasnotwas almost all the points come from love tits, but you also get them for achieving badges/trophies or whateverthehellthey'recalled. For example a few days ago I finally posted 1000 times and got 20 extra points for earning that whateverthehellitis

    My LO reaches for my cup every time I take a drink. I've started letting him take a sip of water and it used to always run down his chin but this week he is actually swallowing it. He's also sitting a little better and laughing more I love this age!

    He can roll back to tummy. He has roll tummy to back a few times. He will grab and put things in his mouth.

    Found cords.  That is not a good thing!  Other thing is that we started squash.  She likes it...I think.  She likes the spoon at least.

    @34blondie - that makes me feel better (not that you missed catching him, but that my M is not the only one not breaking her fall). I made a little joke about it the other day, and my mom seemed so concerned. That's what made me start to feel nervous, like it was supposed to be instinct and she was missing it
