I Know This Has Been Asked but....

I know this has been asked but how do I change my username? I know I have to email someone, but who do I email and what exactly do I say? Do I give the reason why I would like to have my name changed....? Also do I include the name I would like to change it to? I'm not 100% sure I'm going to do it yet, but I'm seriously debating it. (for reasons).

And sorry I know this has been asked before, I just couldn't find any of the threads.

    You can mention security reasons if you want. I said "I would like to change my name from ... To ...and then listed my top 3

    @WasNotWas one last thing how am I notified it changes? Do they send an email to me letting me know my new name and will my password still be the same?

    They emailed me to let me know, but I think it was before the wave of changes that are happening now
