I'm just so tired!

The girls are just under 5 mos old and have forgotten how to sttn, like they were a month ago. This blows. And I keep screwing up who is who! It's kinda funny and sad all at once. I usually always put one in pink and the other in a coordinating other color. But they had blow outs and spit ups and outfit changes all day yesterday. My brain couldn't keep up! Then I got so confused who I was feeding motn. I'd just grab who was crying and be shocked when I'd finally look.
I'm pooped.
Any funny mix ups in your houses this month? Please! Let me relate! Haha

Re: I'm just so tired!

  • My twins are almost 4 months and my boy who was sttn has started waking up. I'm exhausted! I have b/g twins and I was feeding my girl in the motn the other night and thought I was feeding my boy until I looked. Haha ! Oh... The exhaustion.

  • I've been mixing up my girls a lot lately!  Totally crazy!  And they aren't even keeping me up at night anymore!  the other day i put them down for naps in the wrong cribs!

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

  • @kgs0505 we gave up on giving each their own crib early on. If you're asleep, you're going in which ever crib is empty. I figure we will assign cribs when they start to notice and start claiming a space.
  • @ceechie - They shared for a long time, but placement was important to keep track of who was who when they looked even more alike than they do now :)  Now, not sure a big deal, but I hate it when I mix them up and think I'm talking to one, when it's the other.

  • Maybe we'll start having them in same crib... I always have mommy guilt when I mix them up! We confused them for 4 hours at ikea the other day! Haha
  • My boys are 7 months and i still mix them up even though they look nothing a like. I always call them each others name and one night I was nursing a twin and kept talking to him and calling him his brothers name and he wasn't responding. I looked down and realized he wasn't responding because he wasn't his brother lol Life with twins is crazy
