Question about NT scan

I just got my maternit21 results back and found out they were negative and we are having a boy :)
I have my NT scan Friday- I cannot wait. Silly question but do you have to have a full bladder for the test? Any other test preparations you have to do?

    I was asked to have a full bladder, which for me was easy an took about 8 ounces of water less than 30 minutes before my apt.  That's just my body though... my bladder is efficient!  No other prep was needed for me.  I hope all goes wonderfully for you!

    They didnt tell me I needed a full bladder and I didnt.

    When I had mine I wasn't asked to have a full bladder.  In fact the first time (with my daughter) I went right from work to the appointment (I was teaching at the time) and could have peed my pants I had to go so bad and they made me empty my bladder a little because it was too full.  With this one again, wasn't asked to have a full bladder.  I guess it just depends on the practice?

    Congrats!!!  That's great news.  I didn't need a full bladder at mine, but each office may be different.

    They actually had me empty my bladder first. Interesting. Congrats on your results!
    Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.

    Thanks everyone! How nerve wracking it was waiting for the results! We are thrilled. Now I am so excited to have the NT scan Friday. I appreciate everyone's help and advice!
