In the last few days I have become terrified of the newborn stage. My daughter was a hot freaking mess as a newborn. If it wasn't colic, it was only a few minutes shy of the three-hours-a-day-three-days-a-week guideline. There were days that I would be stuck with her in a dark bathroom with white noise on full blast on the iPad.
WTF if this one is like she was? What do you do with colic when you have a 2.5-year-old to watch? Cartoons? Bribery? Benadryl? Ease my mind here.

I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.

I'm a first timer so I can't speak from personal experience, but my sister is almost 2 years older than myself, and I had colic so bad that I actually damaged my vocal chords and spoke with a "raspy cheerleader" voice until age 4. And my mother is, to this day, alive and for the most part undamaged.
She does occasionally reference "giving me to anyone who would have taken me" on multiple occasions, but she made it through. You can do it!!!
Edit: I should also add, neither my sister nor I remember any of that, so do whatever you need to do to keep sane. No one will judge you and your kiddos won't remember.
