rough few days...

We had to put my dog down yesterday and it was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make. She had cancer and was just getting worse day by day. Exactly 2 years ago soon after finding out I was pregnant with J we had to put my other dog down. November is not a very dog friendly month. The hardest part its trying to explain to my daugter that Bettis is not coming home. She asks me 5 million times a day... where's Bettis, why did you take her bed, when is Bettis coming home. It's constant and not making it any easier.Not to mention both kids have croup and were kind enough to share their cold and cough with me. Pictures of my furbabies. Maddox and Bettis.....miss them

    I'm so sorry for your loss. There are a few books that might be helpful to explain things to your daughter. "saying good bye to lulu", "dog heaven", and there's the rainbow bridge. Hugs.

    I hate this so much for you.  Having just made this decision a little less than a month ago, I understand how you're feeling very well.  My heart is breaking for you.  Bryson constantly says "Baaaailey, are you," and it breaks my heart all over again.  I'm praying for you.

    From one doggy mommy to another, I cannot imagine your sadness. I get weepy just thinking about the day our dogs go to doggy heaven. LO will be about 10, assuming they live to about 14 or so and I have no idea what we are going to do to make it better. Thinking of you. :)

    I'm so so sorry :( my heart is breaking for you. My 2 oldest dogs are both having health problems right now and it's stressing me out to no end. It's awful when they are not well.
