Difference between these threads--I honestly truly thought we were having a discussion about fertility, for which I immediately apologized after reading you felt like shit. I never at any time intended you to feel bad and I feel horribly that you did. But you clearly posted this with the intention to make me feel bad. I am honestly truly sorry my posts struck such a chord in you. I hope posting this discussion about me made you feel better. You have hurt my feelings so I guess we are even.

I won't bother anyone here anymore. I came here for support and to give support and it seems like both of those things are unwanted at this point, which accomplishes nothing.

I don't know what the vibe around this board usually is, because I am "new" (I was active on IF and PAIF and then dropped off the face of the earth for about a year) but I'm glad to be back and hope I'm not making anyone uncomfortable...I realize I'm a "bad" infertile because I 'only' needed IUI, but I hope you guys can still love me...I'm OOP if that helps my case. ;-)

Hopeful1981 - yes my post was directed at you. I don't know who you are but what I do think is your a close minded individual. We have difference of opinions on this Board all the time but we don't quote others then make them feel less then. Your an attorney so I'm sure your good at twisting things so you can get your pity but I'm sorry you hit a chord with me without even knowing my situation. I don't judge others because they have paid treatments and coverage or our lovely ladies who got knocked up after their first with no meds. Because I'm happy for them which does not make me think less of them or that their previous fertility struggles were nothing. Your welcome to post here all you want. We just care about one another regardless of eveyone's situations.

I think @mcgeeva's last point about all caring for each other no matter what our circumstances are is EXACTLY the point. Yeah, I know I'm lucky that I only had to do 3 rounds of IUI. But I'm not lucky that I had a 3 year struggle, a year with an RE that cost more than your Ivf cost with absolutely nothing to show for it except a hospital stay, nor am I lucky that I had to experience a devastating loss and basically lose my shit for 6 months. This board (and 3T and PAIF) were what saved me. These are the ladies that brought me out of a dangerous and scary depression. So no one here has the right to make me feeling I don't belong. You don't know me, you don't know my story, and you don't know my relationship with these women. It's not a contest. The IF winner doesn't get a tiara. There are no winners with IF. It's a terrible unfair bitch. That's why we are ALL here to support each other. We don't judge here. We don't compare struggles. We support and cheer each other on and grieve together. We are family.

No, not really, I'm not a tiara kind of a gal. I'm going searching for said trouble post and perhaps I'll be back to comment because ya know, I always have something to say on everything. Well, at least when I read and have time to comment. But, before I do that, I will just say, I have been on this board for a long time and have already witnessed massive drama, hurt feelings, and a mass exodus away so let's not let that happen again. There is a place for all of us here.

@tj1979 - I totally know what you are talking about. I had a slightly rude comment made to me in a thread on this board the other day about the fact that this pregnancy was a spontaneous bfp, but I decided to just ignore it because in my mind it just showed the poster knows nothing about my particular diagnosis. I have known women with my specific issue who have gone through years of treatment and spent 100k plus with no success and gone on to have a spontaneous bfp. It is dumb luck and happening to catch a good egg. But it doesn't mean there was never an issue to begin with. Even women with premature ovarian failure have a spontaneous pregnancy rate of about 2 to 5 percent. But that doesn't negate the fact that they have a devastating diagnosis or that the vast majority of REs won't even work with them...they don't even have ivf as an option.
