Done with today

I woke up sicker than yesterday. I'm losing voice which sucks because I teach six year olds. They were off the hook today. It was a long day.
I pick dd up from mil. When I get home, I take her hat off. Her ear is covered in dry blood. Not a spot on the hat so it had happened earlier in the day. I call dh to tell him and he said she woke up with it at 11. It was 4:30! He was worried about cleaning it off and hurting her. I can understand, but grow some balls. But I'm surprised my mil didn't clean it off either. She had her for 3 hours.
Then I take dd out of her carseat. She clearly needs a diaper change. Her diaper was bulging with pee and she was caked in poop. I peeled the diaper off of her and tried to wipe the dry poop off of her. Ditched the wipes for a bath instead. Her poor red bum. I have no idea how long she was sitting in the grossness, but it was longer than just our 20 minute car ride home. It was dried to her. :(

Anyone else done with today? Sorry. I needed the vent.

    I'm sorry you had a rough day. I hope tomorrow is better for you!! All I can say is that I can't freaking wait to be done with college so we can move across the country. I'm tired of having to deal with both our families during the holidays. It makes them unenjoyable anymore :(

    Pretty shitty day here as well. Hoping for a better day for us all tomorrow!

    @RK125 if I may ask, what caused her ear to bleed?

    Yes! I had an epic bad day! I have been crying since work and it's just one thing after another. I hate hate today. We can all whine about it ;)

    @californiadreams87 I have no idea. I used a qtip to clean the outer part of her ear and found what could have been a scratch. She claws at herself sometimes when nursing and there was a razor blade pinkienail that i missed. There's been no additional bleeding and she responds to sound on that side so I'm just going to keep an eye on it.
