I wouldn't put the j&j stuff near my LO! It's so fragranced you could smell it across the street! Unscented lotions are best for LO skin, scented lotions can cause allergies and can make eczema and dermatitis worse.I either use burts bees organic lotion or olive oil.
This. Also, if you're BF, try expressing & applying BM.
Absolutely. You can always mix BM and coconut oil together and apply to area if the dryness is super bad or if he's having a reaction to the other lotion. Make sure if you apply BM to area to let dry before you put anything else onto the area.
Thanks ladies! I'm calling to make an appointment w her pedi for next week for a different issue. Sounds like I'll be looking into aveeno and coconut oil!
Love earth mama angel baby vanilla lotion. I've actually tried to eat it bc DD is always putting hands in her mouth and it doesn't have a taste. The most natural lotion I've found.
The aveeno eczema lotion is really great for super dry skin. Also I agree with everyone saying Burt's bees. That stuff is awesome!
I am tempted to try a little of the Aveeno eczema for my winter skin, seems like that stuff works wonders on my LO, I am sure she won't mind if I borrow some.
