Today I had a client ask me how things are going and if we had any news about the baby. When I told her we have our big u/s next week but we aren't finding out the sex she told me "I think you are having a girl because you are carrying all of your weight in your butt" I was a bit heavy when I got pregnant but have only gained 4 pounds due to morning sickness. I can still wear my old jeans (they just don't fit at the belly). Just what I needed to hear, I now have a big butt
Re: The things people say!
I actually had a good experience today at the grocery checkout where the older lady bagging my groceries made no mention of my belly but just said "I spread out the items to make sure none of the bags were too heavy for you". I thought that was sweet. So not everyone is a twerp.
Aww that was very nice
Good to hear that there are still sweet people out there!
Oh for the love of God!!!! I remember I had one of my very good friends saying to me "I didn't know you could carry a baby in your a#$%" Granted she could get away with it because I've known her forever and I knew my buns were ginormous but from a stranger .....not so much. Just wait....towards the end you will really want to throat punch people with their guesses based on all sorts of unflattering reasons. I had some co-workers so convinced that my DD was a boy (we were team green) that they went out and bought me boy clothes for my shower at work. I was appreciative of the gesture but pissed because she was very much a girl but at that time no one, even me knew that. I had to send out my Mom to return all the stuff because there was no mistaking that it was boy clothes ( kakis with a sweater vest and tie) couldn't even kinda get away with putting her in the outfits.
Good luck and buy ear plugs lol
That woman's just... precious...
