2nd beta is in - 29 hour doubling time?

14dpo my HcG was 165 and my progesterone was 30. Today (16dpo) my HcG was 518 and my progesterone was 28. Is a 29 hour doubling time significant in any way? I'm only 26, and while we thought we just had one dominant follie this month there were a few that were close behind and may have gone with the trigger... My first ultrasound is in two weeks. How am I supposed to wait?! Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
5/13 - Dx with lean PCOS
6/13 - 50mg clomid, no response
7/13 - 7.5mg femara, pregnitude, TI - chemical pregnancy
9/13 - 7.5mg femara, pregnitude, trigger, IUI, progesterone - BFN
10/13 - 7.5mg femara (final attempt before injects), pregnitude, trigger, TI, progesterone - BFP!

    Oh, and my estrogen was 300. I have no idea what it should be.
    5/13 - Dx with lean PCOS

    Congrats! Great numbers! Betas aren't the best way to tell about multiples. You could have just one strong little bean! The wait to the ultrasound is torture. I hope it goes by quickly.

    They are great numbers! I had a doubling time of 27 hours between my first and second beta. I am pregnant with twins.

    That's great!!! I think mine was 31 and I just have one LO cooking :)

    Numbers look good.  Anything under 48 hours doubling at that point is the right direction - congrats!

    My doubling times were in that range and I am pregnant with one. Betas aren't are reliable way to predict if you are having multiples. Waiting for the first u/s is tough! Good luck to you!

    Those numbers are very similar to mine from an elective single embryo transfer, and I have just one bean! Congrats!!!
    | Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014

    Those are great numbers! I wouldn't read much into the doubling time as long as your RE is comfortable with it. I'm having twins and my doubling time was 39 hours. Good luck with the wait to US!

    Great beta!  They really aren't good predictors of multiples.  My betas were lower than some with a singleton and I had a 43 hr doubling time. Congrats!

    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    TTC #1** Went off BCP July 2011

    Jan 2012 Dx PCOS by OB/Gyn


    July 2012 - Tests with RE confirmed PCOS and annovulation

    2 rounds of clomid, 5 IUI's using clomid + injectibles. 

    Surprise BFP while on break cycle due to cysts.  It's a girl! Baby "E" born on Thanksgiving Day 11/28/13
