Crazy "short" Long Story:
I have been contracting on and off for two weeks. I went to my regular dr appt today after dropping my son off at school, other DS to sitter, and dh and I went to Lowes. I was contracting, but thought I was a wimp. I went to dr and I was 5cm. He sent me to l&d at 10:35ish. We ran to bank and about 5 min down road to hospital. As we looked for a spot in ramp my water broke. I said drop me off, park and I'll meet you in there. Pain got worse. I couldn't walk and a nice man asked if I needed help. He got me a wheel chair, called and emergency code, and wheeled me to l&d. (This nice man ended up being hospital CEO!) I went to stand up out she started coming pants and undies still on! I cried out that I needed an epidural they put me on the bed and said no and out she came! I was never so scared in all my life:) by 11:12AM we were skin to skin! (I still had my bra on!) She had some quick temperature issues and I'm bleeding a little much due to blood thinner and rapid delivery, but we are so lucky! My dh ran in as she was coming out! I am so in love!
