Stomach flu, FML.

I wrote in the monday bitchfest post about the horrible stomach bug that I got on weekend. Well this morning all my family woke up with the symptoms! Everybody puking and sick. God help me get over this without loosing my sanity completely. Do you have any suggestions to how to overcome the stomach bug? I know we need to drink fluids. Any foods that are not too harsh on stomach? Thank you.

  • That sucks!  I always eat yogurt when I have the stomach bug.  I figure the probiotics in it help me recover faster.  I am not sure if that is actually true but it makes me feel better. I also drink lots of gatorade. I hope your family feels better soon.

  • UGH!  So sorry to hear that the bug has spread.  I hope it only lasts a very short while and everyone is back to their normal, happy selves very soon.

  • Thank you all for get well wishes, I need them :) This bug is strong - I am on my fourths day and still feeling all out of sorts. The only plus is I have lost 3 LB from all this throwing up and not eating... I hope for the kids it will not be as bad as it was for me.

  • DD and DH both had a nasty flew last week...luckily I didn't catch it.  DH just didn't eat anything for almost a day and then he started slowly eating things to see how he felt.  The most important thing is to get fluids.

    I always find toast and crackers are okay to munch on.
