Many Drs do not run any testing unless you've had 3 losses.
You know the saying "Don't borrow trouble"? That's what I thought when I read this. You've only been trying for a couple months, and while I am so very sorry for your losses, there are standards set for fertility testing and treatment for a reason. I definitely would not recommend you taking baby aspirin unless you're specifically told to do so by your Dr, because as of right now you don't really know what's causing your issue. What if you actually have an issue with your lining being too thin, and baby aspirin just exasperates that problem? YKWIM?
Also, both my RE and OB never bothered doing progesterone testing because the numbers fluctuate so much, in order to really know for sure if there is an issue, you'd have to be tested daily- that one number (which btw is supposed to be done on 7DPO, not 5DPO so it may very well be a little low) is just a gauge to confirm that you ovulated. All that being said- my RE treats with progesterone cream for all IVF cycles, but didn't bother to give me anything for my IUI cycle- so I really do not think this is a huge deal.
Now a good way to gauge whether or not you have a LP defect (which is when progesterone would be an issue) is to chart your cycles- I can see you are on your 2nd cycle of that from your chart in your siggy- your first LP looked great, see how this current cycle goes. Anything over 10 days would suggest your LP is just fine, and likely so is your progesterone.
Good luck

If this were the case, it would be nice for a physician to take the time to explain things and not brush me off.
We have been trying for 3 months total - and two out of the three have been chemicals. So while we may not have been trying for a year or more, when you conceive twice in 3 months and lose both, that raises a red flag to me.
At this rate, I'm on my way to my 3rd chemical, so I suppose they'll take the time to talk to me after.
Regardless of your current situation from your post, I gather you are not pleased with your doctor. If that is the case, I would find someone new, especially if the chemistry isn't right and you don't feel he or she is taking time with you.
best of luck to you.

Yea, your Doctor is a douche bag, and I'm sorry you have to deal with that. I can just imagine how frustrating this must be for you.
ITA with KC ^ time to find a NEW Dr.
Check out the TTCAL board, they have a ton of information, and might be able to give you more advice over there.

I take progesterone vaginal suppositories. My doctor is on the it can only help camp regarding it. I have had four losses including one cycle with progesterone. If you aren't happy with your care I would switch doctors.
Progesterone is a very controversial subject in the world of OBs. Some don't believe in giving it to patients because it can prolong an unviable pregnancy. There's really no research that it actually works in preventing miscarriage. IMO it does and I am proof of that. However, I completely agree with the prior posters in that you have only been trying for a few months and even though you've had 2 CPs, that doesn't really prove there is a problem. But I also agree that if you are uncomfortable with your current OB, you should look for a new one. Good luck!
Oh and P.S. In an act of desperation & against my better judgement, I actually tried progesterone cream for a few months and it did nothing for me. Again there are mixed opinions on this, but I don't think there is enough progesterone that gets absorbed to do anything.
Thank you ladies! I am switching OBs at the first of the year when our insurance changes, so until then I will *try* and have some patience. This cycle is looking fairly promising, so hopefully the progesterone comes back where it needs to be tomrrow. GL everyone!
