I was 37 (turned 38 a month later) when our baby was conceived and DH was 38. We are team green and the sex of the baby does not matter to us. I have a gut feeling (we all know how accurate those can be lol) that the baby is a boy. DH says girl. Since we have gone public with the pregnancy everyone wants to give an opinion on the sex of the baby. We have had several people tell us that the fact that DH was considered older at the time of conception that the baby is more likely to be a girl. Apparently studies have been done that reflect this although I have not been able to find any of these studies and their results. Maybe I am just not performing the right search. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of this? I know that if it is a girl, I will have that moment of adjustment since I feel so strongly it is a boy, but I would NEVER have gender disappointment. We had a loss before this pregnancy and I know how blessed we are with whichever we have.

My husband was 45 when this baby conceived, and we are having a boy.
Thanks for the input, I was just hearing it so often that I started to wonder if there was any truth to it. Congrats ladies on your babies!
