Still team green.... Sort of...

We had an US today and it was so fun to see our baby squirming around. We told the tech we don't want to know the sex of the baby. The problem is that I'm pretty familiar with ultra sounds... I've volunteered places where I get to sit in on a lot of them. I got a pretty good look at baby's bottom by accident and I'm 80% sure I know what we are having. This baby wanted us to know because the tech was having a hard time avoiding genitals! But I don't think we will tell people we even saw anything.... She never confirmed what I saw, so we still aren't completely sure. I'm kind of sad we think we know though... I love surprises. But I'm so happy everything looked good otherwise!

    Congrats on a great scan! I think there may be enough room for error that you could pretend you didn't see anything you think you may have seen ;)

    We're team green also, and at our scan the tech referred to the baby as "he" once. My husband believes she slipped and it's a boy. But I think that she was just saying something instead of saying "it", which is what we do also, and I had already said he at the scan. So we still aren't sure of course, but it does mess with your head!

    This is me exactly! I really don't want to know but I'm also pretty good at reading U/S and so is DH. Between our upcoming A/S plus 3-4 cervical length checks, I have a feeling one of us will know... (We both thought we could tell at two weeks ago...)

    Congratulations on a happy scan!

    Sorry abut the 80% though. I told my husband already that if we get an idea of the sex from the u/s itself or from the technician "slipping up" I'm going to ask what we're having. For me I'd rather either not know at all or find out so I don't spend the next five months wondering if what I saw/heard was right. That's just me though. Here's hoping for a good tech!

    I'm glad your baby is looking happy and healthy, if a bit immodest. :D
