Has anyone switched over to an umbrella stroller yet? I am debating on it. We have the Chicco Cortina travel system and A sits in the regular stroller part now. We still use the infant carseat but rarely ever take it out of the car. The travel system is so heavy I think it is time to switch over. We have the Chicco liteway plus.
I was just looking at the weight difference between the travel system and the liteway and there is only a 3 lb difference. I am thinking of returning it and getting the Uppa baby G-luxe. Does anyone have the g-luxe?
ETA : edited to ask another question

I have the G-luxe and used it for 2 years. Love it. Very easy to use and excellent sunshade. We started using it with DS1 at 3 months. If you need more storage for 2 more lbs look at the Valco Snap. I have the double and I love it as well.
My little bug, Madeline. Born June 2, 2013.
It's not big at all. I have the double and it will fit in most trunks (you may have to take the wheels off for the double), so the single should be no problem. The specs are on the website:

You may want to check amazon and albeebaby for deals..they do go on sale. I have amazon mom for cheap diapers and the bonus is I get free shipping and returns on most things.
I ask because it looks like I am stuck between those two and the Joovy lightweight. I like the over-the-shoulder portability (I have to travel a lot to see family), but I see the Valco can be rolled behind you. I am also going to try to see them in person for height.
I like the sunshade and the fabric on the G-luxe better, it's really nice to the touch. With one baby the diaper bag I carried was smaller and looked like a purse...so the basket wasn't an issue. However, you can't hang anything on the G-luxe without it tipping over.
The Snap pushes 1 handed, has a better basket, and is all terrain. The fabric repels stuff and is easy to wipe, but isn't soft. You will be able to get air tires for it next year. It's also newborn rated and now has car seat adaptors. It really could be your all in one stroller. It looks like the single has a shoulder strap too.
So...I'd do the Snap in most situations. However, I've only seen the Zee in Buy Buy Baby. It's a little heavier and more like a fancy City Mini. The Zee is carried behind you.
I did like the G-luxe a lot in the airport though.
