Bday presents for twins

This is kind of a dumb question but what do you buy when going to a bday party for twins? 2 identical presents? 2 complementary presents? 1 larger present that can be shared? I'm sure I'm way overthinking this.

Also, suggestions on what 4yr old boys like?

    I think it all depends on what you find.  Maybe you could get two sets of race tracks that can be used individually or connected together?  I'm thinking of the Hot Wheels type tracks.

    Could you ask the parents what the boys are into?  Maybe they like completely different things.

    It's a daycare party so unfortunately i don't know the parents.

     i think you could do either. my 3 year old nephews are only 3 weeks apart so i get them very similar things all the time...thomas trains, legos, any type of like cars/ dump trucks.

    At that age, I would go with two smaller (but complementary) gifts. Like maybe one kid gets the fire truck Lego set and the other one the police car set.

    I don't know if there's a "right" way to do it but I think kids really like to have they own thing to open on their birthday.
