Molars

Does anyone's little ones have their molars yet?  If so,were these much worse as far as breaking through than the other teeth?  Is it just me or is teething worse at night?

Re: Molars

  • It would be really early for molars. Molars don't typically erupt until after a year. DD2 has just gotten all of hers and the first few molars were hell. H.e.l.l.

  • Also for some reason I thought molars don't come through when they are babies.  Maybe I am mistaken.

  • Molars come a bit later (12 -18 months), and yes, they suck worse than the other teeth.  The 2 year molars are beasts!  My son just finally got all those in a month or two ago.  I love tylenol or advil for the night time.  Helps them sleep so much better.  My one twin is popping her first now, but it's taking it's sweet old time coming out.  I just keep feeling that point.

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

  • Molars don't start up until 12-18 months. Maybe eye teeth are coming in?

  • My son didn't get his molars until he was around 2 and they weren't too bad but he was also older.

  • No molars in sight here, but he's cutting more teeth. He already has 6 of them! He got his top front 4 all at once. I feel like we've been teething forever without any breaks. However, DS is such a trooper and I do my very best to keep him comfortable and pain free as much as I can.
