DH and I decided the FN together. I gave him a list of Welsh middle names to choose from (since I was imposing our girl middle name whether he liked it or not) and he chose Rhys. Without DH: Girl: Vera Myfanwy Boy: Felix Llewellyn With DH: Girl: Giada Myfanwy Boy: Oscar Rhys* *winner!

I have a LOT of guilty pleasure girl names, but when it comes down to this actual child who we've struggled with for so long- Elisabeth is really the only choice in my mind. DH came up with Archimedes- I'd never have come up with it on my own but it's so much fun in the middle that I've fallen for it too. Without his input I'd have gone with something much more traditional though.

With: No idea (I'm with Joy on this one, we're lucky we named DD) and Theodore. Or something.

I think we are agreed that the MN would be my grandmother's FN or maiden name depending on sex, and by "agreed" I mean that DH has not objected to this for our theoretical, probably never-to-be-conceived third child, and I wouldn't leave the hospital without getting my way.

Hmm, edit feature isn't working today. I was going to say we were team green for both kids so I was going to change my answer.

For our first I really wanted Charlotte or Amelia Wren. We agreed on Alice Wren (baby was a boy). We agreed on Everett years ago, but had I not has any input, Jared would have been my choice at the time.

Second baby was also team green and I wanted either Ruby Piper or Augusta Pearl for a girl. Unfortunately, BIL named his dog Ruby so that was out and DH won't get on board with Augusta.

It's hard for me to remember since I constantly monitor what DH might like. I know DH's name for a son would be Theodore but I vetoed cause I like nn Ted/Teddy and he only likes Theo. For a girl I like Hazel (not even sure if it was my #1)' but DH vetoed. Our names are constantly changing!

I'll just go back to the first pg when we were team green and had a blank slate to work with. Without DH: Fiona Elizabeth or Fiona Bernadette and Theodore Anything-he-liked

With DH: Margaret Victoria and Theodore Moses.

We went with Theodore Cardiff, a surprise choice he suggested in the hospital.

For a hypothetical 4th child, without DH: Bernadette and Gregory. With DH: probably Lucy and George.

Hmm, the twins probably would have been Ewan Joseph and Garrett Raymond with that are Rhys Joseph and Jude Raymond. I still live Ewan so we will see if I can sneak it in this time. My first son, we both totally agreed on the name Graeme Robert. All middle names are family names and there was no real discussion, we both were in board.

DH and I together:

I did actually name Basil by myself with no help from DH. We tossed around boy names, but from day one I just knew she was a girl, and that I wanted to name her Basil Isabella. This time around is going to be harder I think... Though no way would I let DH name a kid without my veto power. He suggests horrible names most of the time.
