I'm looking for a fun way to reveal to our immediate family (other than cupcakes with pink or blue frosting). Going to look on Pinterest too but thought I'd ask what people have in mind here?
We are planning to do our reveal on Christmas and what I'm thinking I want done is to have a big box wrapped up from Santa to our DS (he's 2 1/2), and the box would be filled with either blue or pink balloons and a sign that says you're getting a baby brother/sister.
That being said, my sister will be the one in charge of our reveal, so no idea if she will actually do this for me...

Oh I like that! We don't find out until a few days after Christmas or this would be a little easier
Our reveal will be very low key on Christmas Day. It'll just be more directed to MIL with our gift to her being a pink or blue scarf. She won't know that we found out gender until she unwraps gift and sees box with the "blue or pink what do you think?" The same goes for my mom only with candles. And for our sisters who we likely won't see over Christmas we will mail them either pink or blue M&M's
I think it would be a cute idea to put pink or blue shredded paper in everyone's gift and see if they realize it or not. I'm not doing a gender reveal until my baby shower because I'm a FTM and most people just get you clothes for a gift if they know if its a boy or girl and I NEED stuff not clothes. So I'm going with the boring cupcake filled with pink or blue frosting idea at my baby shower.

I was thinking we would reveal to our families by me wearing a pretty pink or blue ribbon above my belly with my outfit we have our ultrasound on the 19th of December
I'm doing a Christmas Day reveal for my family. I saw an invitation that said "Tie or pearls what will Santa bring us? A boy or girl?" With that in the minds of our guests I'm gonna give my mom and brother a box with a tie or pearls (I'm a pearl necklace whore) in it!

We were going to give everyone a pink or blue ornament wrapped in a small box at Christmas, but then they changed our date so we won't have the time - so were doing cupcakes...
I'm not doing any sort of gender reveal but I think it would be fun to do silly string! Buy a few cans of either pink or blue, and hand them out to everyone. Then count to three and spray!
We're finding out on the 12th, but if my mom asks we'll lie and say they didn't know yet. When we celebrate Christmas with our immediate families, we'll do the blue or pink helium balloons wrapped up like a present. We'll then reuse them for whichever side of our family we have a celebration with 2nd.
One of my friends had a box of pink streamers and balloons and confetti hung up from the ceiling. She set a ribbon with a pacifier on the end as a draw string to open the box. Then she had her other daughter pull the pacifier and the streamers, etc fell all around her. It was super cute! I was thinking about doing this with my nephew.
We are waiting until Christmas to find out, so I'm going to pick out a boy outfit and a girl outfit and have the clerk wrap one up for DH and I to open Christmas day!
I was hoping M&Ms did dark chocolate customized candy, as those are my mom's favorite. I thought it would have been cool to put the message on the m&m's and not tell her it was there to wait until she noticed. But it looks like they only do the milk chocolate, so I may wrap up a onesie or a picture frame of the U/S.
Although I kind of like the idea of DH & I being surprised too when we do a reveal at Christmas, so we may do the cake thing. I never thought I would get into a gender reveal, but I'm super excited about surprising my mom for Christmas.
