3d/4d Scan

So, DH hasn't seen LO since about 13 weeks and I feel bad - he's also been down about it lately. With his current job, he can't make our daytime appts.
So i found a place that does 4d scans, gives CDs&DVD's along with pictures.
I surprised DH yesterday and took him.
I knew it would be tough to get a good look at LO because she's always positioned with her butt to me or stucked deep in and balled up.

Round 1 consisted of just that. Lo had those little feet in her face and her thumb in her mouth. We tried moving her but my baby is stubborn. So we took a 30 minute break. Drank cold water, had a few lolipops, moved around.

Round2 was better. She moved! Although she was still far away (i think because of my belly fat - but the nurse said because the way I carry) we couldn't see too close, we seen her! Little chubby cheeks, button nose, we seen hair!, and her little fingers. She didn't print the pics in 3d because of the quality, wwasn't too clear .
I get to go back in 4 weeks to try again - for free. She said let the baby get a little bigger and move more up, then we will be able to see her features much clearer.

Dh and I were so thrilled to see her. I had dreams about her all night long. I'm so in love. These next 10 weeks couldn't go by fast enough. I almost dont even care about the holidays I just want my LO here already!

TTC Since 112010 Naturally. Diagnose:PCOS(ME) + Low Motility(HIM). Started IVF+ICSI Cycle 12312. ER 27 & ET 210 two embies transferred. *BFN 1ST IVF CYCLE.* **Getting as healthy as possible and will try IVFICSI#2 again hopefully in April.** -- HAVE FAITH; LET GO & LET GOD --

    Oh I just think those scans are the neatest things!!!!!!!!!!!  How exciting, glad you could at least get some good shots in there :)   Does your place allow you to put the heartbeat in something? The place by me, you can have the HB in a little teddy bear :)

    That is the sweetest idea! Your hubby is one lucky guy :) Can I ask how much it costs? I know it probably varies per place, but just curious about a ballpark.

    Hey there . It varies by package. It was $160 w/ tax. That includes a cd with all pics, dvd of ultrasound, and 10 color print outs and 10 b/w print outs

    What a great idea and that is not a bad price! I was paying 180 oop for u/s at my first RE and they were not 3d!

    We did this too, it is very nice. my dd can come too and they had toys for her and a huge couch for the DH. It was a very nice thing.
