I BF but on the days when I pump she has 4 x 5oz bottles and possibly a 5th during the night (I never give a bottle during the night so I am not entirely sure of the amount). She likes to eat frequently rather than have large amounts.
Solid Foodwise she has 2-3 tbsp food 3 x day (e.g. porridge with blueberries, meat and vegetables, veggie/fruit meal). Plus finger foods (e.g. sweet potato or fruit wedges, crumpets).
L nurses 4-5 times a day (I'm guessing she gets approx 5oz at each feeding). She nurses every 4 hours. Around 10 am she gets 2 heaping scoops of oatmeal and 2 oz of fruit. At 2pm she gets 4 oz of fruit or veggie and then at 7pm she gets another 2 scoops of oatmeal and 2 oz of veggies
Um, I feel like I'm under feeding my kid reading these. We've just barely started oatmeal twice a day...
We aren't even doing cereal yet. LO nurses all day when I am with her. At daycare she takes three 4 oz bottles of expressed breastmilk in the 10 hours I am away, occasionally a 4th 4 oz bottle. She nurses in the morning before daycare and 2-3 times between getting home and going to bed. She sometimes wakes 3/4 of the way through the night for a feeding too.
I'm an EPer so R gets 5 bottles a day that range from 5-6oz and 2 ounce "snacker" if he wakes up in the MOTN. He gets one ice cube of fruit with an oz of BM and oatmeal in the morning and 2 ice cubes of a veggie and BM and a little oatmeal at night. He doesn't turn 6 months until the 28th so his first taste if meat will be turkey on Thanksgiving!
We BF all day. Not really on a schedule - while I was working last month, she was taking 5 6oz bottles roughly every 3hrs in addition to 2MOTN snacks and a nursing session in the morning. We started oatmeal yesterday. We will do up to 2oz of solids for the next month then add a second meal after that. Our doc says to start slow...
I'm stumped on how much milk should she be taking with her solid meal...
Still bf'ing on demand, no solids yet. Planning to start oatmeal soon once a day and then see what the doc says at his (late) six month appointment about adding more.
we're feeding quite a bit of solids, but LO is almost 7 months old (late April baby here). We do oatmeal 3.5-4 oz of fruit in the morning, 3.5 - 4 oz of a fruit/veggie blend at lunchtime, and 3.5-4 oz of veggies / or veggies/meat or veggies/grain at dinnertime (about 6pm). He also has 4-5 bottles a day (typically 28-35 oz)
