Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Umbrella stroller recs

I'm looking for recs of lightweight umbrella strollers that are small enough to fit in a coat closet but durable enough for long walks... also would love to use it with an infant to toddler phase.

I've heard great things about the Uppababy g-luxe but I recently saw it in person and think it might be too big.

Thanks!

Re: Umbrella stroller recs

  • I got an umbrella stroller from babies r us for like $30. We used it on vacation in the airport for DS (2 @ the time) & just around here for DD (5 months old). She loves it. It folds up easy & easy to store. I actually forgot I had. Totally easier than my double stroller .

  • Ds was almost 2 @ the time. He was almost too big for it. He was like 30 lbs. Big boy!

I really like the maclaren strollers. They fold up easy and are easy to push/control with one hand.

ETA: that was my experience with DS1, I haven't used it yet for DS2.
  • Love my Combi Cosmo stroller. Folds up small and can still recline
