We stopped around 8ish weeks. My LO hated the swaddle and broke out of it as soon as we put it on. He even broke out of the Aden & Anais swaddles. After that, we gave up.
She'll be 3 months this weekend and we're still swaddling. She likes it and sleeps 7-8 hours a night so yeah, I'm not messing that up! When she starts trying to roll we will stop. She is great at tummy time, lifts her head way up and even scoots forward...but no signs of rolling
Our little guy will be three mos next week and we still swaddle. He sleeps 10-12 hours at night so we are not trying going to mess with the bedtime routine. If he starts moving toward rolling over we will try something else.
LO is 16 weeks and we still swaddle. She still has the startle reflex so it helps with that. I want to do it as I transition into a crib (which I can't bring myself to do yet since she doesn't sttn plus for my own emotional reasons) in hopes it might be a smoother transition from the rNp.

BFP Dec 8! EDD Aug 17th, due to Preeclampsia and HELLP, Kylie Penelope was born July 30th!
He's 10 weeks and we have never swaddled! He STTN on his back without issue. *knocks on wood*. I say that only to say that not every baby needs it, and some never like it. My LO was born so big he never really fit in them anyway.
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
I have a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" policy w all things like this. The swaddle still works for us, so well keep doing it until it doesn't anymore.
Ditto the "if it ain't broke" sentiment. We still swaddle and LO is 13 weeks. We use the halo swaddle sleep sac. She doesn't break out but we can't keep her hands by her sides in it anymore. Still works though.
Still swaddle at 13 weeks. We tried to just use a normal sleep sack and he hardly slept. We use the halo fleece one and he loves it. He has rolled over once but it was more of a fluke. When he can roll over we will stop.

wow! 10-12 hours a night! Without waking for feedings? Is there any thing you've done that you find has made it easier for him to sleep so long? My DD sometimes sleeps 8 hours, but mostly sleeps 6 hours, and then wakes 3 hours later, eats, then sleeps 3 hours again...then up for the day for a lot of play and little naps.
Believe me, I've had anxiety over how much he sleeps but our pedi assures us it's ok. Our LO eats ALot during the day which is why the dr thinks he sleeps so well at night. I EP and he eats every two hours almost like clockwork. He almost always takes 4oz of BM at each feeding which I know seems like a lot but it's what works for him. We've always swaddled for nighttime but never worried about putting him in a room that's super quiet or dark. I wish I had a trick to share.
We just stopped swaddling 2 nights ago. We used the swaddleme before. He started rolling from his back to belly (although never in his sleep) so our ped said no more swaddling. I was nervous it would ruin his sleep because he still startles a lot but so far it has been fine! First night he woke once and last night he sttn.
I just stopped swaddling this week. Ds decided hed had enough of swaddling and his woombie :-( i was hoping it would last till christmas when he would get some home made sleep sacks from my mom for christmas
