Who is using Tylenol/Advil for teething?

At what point did you decide to use it?  I have been using the Hyland Teething Tabs so far but they just don't seem to cut it anymore. I guess my problem is that I have no idea if my kid is cranky because of X, Y or Z, pick a reason and don't want to dose my kid if he is just going through a developmental leap, or irritated with his helmet, etc.

    This.  If we have tried everything to make him feel better and nothing works we will then give tylenol.  We have only used it a couple times.

    We have used it a few times, in fact I used it 20 minutes ago. Teething is a total nightmare!

    I use it when she's crying and nothing else helps.
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

    We've used infant Motrin quite a bit with R for his reflux issues and the ear infections caused by it. He is such a happier guy when he gets it. Granted I don't know if it's relief from his reflux, ears or teeth but I'm just marking it as a win.

    I gave LO some last night for the first time. She woke up and was inconsolable for a couple hours. Her two bottom teeth are through the skin and didn't seem to bother her much until now. I wasn't 100% sure that was the issue last night but I figured it wouldn't hurt to give her some in case she was in pain.

    It's not supposed to. But J didn't seem the least bit uncomfortable until I felt that a tooth had already popped. Now he's getting cranky. I think the other one is on its way though.

    I dunno?? I kinda thought we were in the clear and had a baby that teething didn't bother much once I saw them...until last night. It could be different teeth that are bothering her though that aren't through? It's so hard to say!

    I think we are getting close to a tooth. He has a snotty nose, but doesn't seem sick. Hopefully I see some teeth soon!

    theres some days where she is just not in the mood for anything, and just cries. Normally this happens at night. I have probably given it to her 5-7 times. I don't like to give it to her everyday because sometimes it causes slight diarrhea.
