I put a dirty disposable diaper on top of my basket of clothes to bring it down stairs to put in the garbage. I bypassed the garbage can went straight to the washer..35 minutes later I found a diaper explosion all over my clothes!!

Re: Monday Mom Problems

  • Oh duuuuuuuuuuuuuude. Ew. Sorry that happened to you.

We are discovering the miracle that is Oxy Free (powder) around here lately. I've let a lot of poopy things soak in a high concentration for a few hours- good as new!! Hope you get that crap (literally!) out of your clothes!

Same about the Oxy Free. That stuff is great. I left a Threat Level: Midnight diaper in the car the other day, when it was warm. I don't condone littering, but I seriously thought about it for a minute. G-r-o-s-s.
  • Hot water and oxi-clean does miracles on poo stains! Lol

LO was constipated last night and up all night crying... I'm so tired today.

  • Continuing on the poo thread, DH put LO in the carseat this morning and as he was bringing him out ot my car for daycare said "I think he pooped but I'm not sure."

    Sigh.

Well yes, he pooped and it went all up his back - thank goodness he was wearing a sweatshirt over his onesie, because it didn't get on the carseat -- but I still had to hand him to our DCP saying "I'm so sorry, he just pooped" and she said "hhhhh yes he did, I can see it!"

I was in a suit and heels and running late, of course.  Thankfully she just said "that's what we're here for - don't get dirty, just go," but i still feel like I threw a shitty baby at her and flounced off to work, and i HATE that - i like to spend a few minutes there chatting with her in the mornings.

Julianne has a poo in the car on the way to daycare at least once a week. I used to feel bad about having them change her while I was there but I got over that pretty quick, and now just play and distract her while they do the dirty work. I'm certainly paying them enough. Plus another baby in her room has one every single day in the car and his mom always hands him off, makes me feel less guilty about our weekly changes.
That's exactly what my husband said.

  • I find it hilarious that this turned into "shit talk". @clqsquared the diarrhea somehow turned into balls (turds) LOL  X_X trust me I was surprised as hell when I opened the washing machine

This isn't a "mommy" problem but more of a "husband" problem.   My husband hates going to the Dr.  So when his tooth started to hurt he "poo-poo'd" it and just tried to deal with it.  I got sick of listening to him so I called the dentist.   Thank God I did, over the weekend his cheek blew up and he looks as if he is carrying a softball in his cheek.    He goes in today at 3:30 and it is none too soon.  I can not get a darn thing done because he is vegetating on the couch with ice packs on his face and popping Advil and Tylenol every 4 hours.   I had to lay a blanket on the rug in the living room so LO can play, since I need to vacuum but can't since he is in and out of consciousness.

Please ladies pray I don't kill him before he can get to his appointment.

Ohh I do have a Mommy problem.   Sir Cavin went to bed at 8 pm, up at 10 ate went back to bed, up at 11 pm and would NOT go back to bed till 2 AM!  He was in full on play mode but I could not let him play since the above fore mentioned was on the couch.   so LO spent most of the time crying in his bed.  I was hoping he would cry himself to sleep.   On the upside when he did finally go to sleep about 2 he slept till almost 8. :)

  • This isn't as bad as your poop problems, but we have been on a carrot kick lately... Rhys pooped twice yesterday and his little bum is seriously stained orange! Ewww!

  • @tondraluv - Poo balls?  I used to cloth diaper and never had poo balls!  Oh you know what?  It was probably the junk in the disposable diaper, the stuff that absorbs the wetness.  Ugh!  That would explain it!  But yes, oxyclean is the best!  In fact I just buy All free and clear with oxyclean right in it!  Gets rid f all manner of stains

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

  • After a total of about an hour of sleep with a grumpy LO from this damn coxsackie and teaching 19 1st graders all day, I ran to daycare to pick up his school pictures. I come out to my car and can't get in. I'm unlocking and the door won't open. After about 30 seconds and a few very hard tugs on the door, I remembered my husband and I switched cars this morning and I was definitely trying to get into someone else's car. So embarrassing!!

  • I honestly want to know what is clearing out Connor, he doesn't have diarrhea.. just a shit ton of shit that has been leaking out the sides of the diaper each time.

  • I ordered a car seat from Target and had my home address set to default. Nope, they shipped it to my old address and it was delivered today and left at the front door. Freaking awesome. I'm SO ANNOYED. My DH has contacted our old landlord so hopefully we get it because it was not a cheap car seat :(
