Double ear infection, poor baby!!

I took LO into the pediatrician today because she has had yellow goop in her eyes for a couple of days and has been very, very fussy. Imagine my surprise when they said she has a double ear infection and its draining from her eyes!! Ew! Poor baby! Doc said because their ears, nose and throat are tiny and close together, this apparently isn't uncommon. So she's on 10 days of amox and will hopefully be feeling much better soon!

I feel you! We've been battling ear infections for 6 weeks now due to his reflux. We started on amoxicillin first and 3 antibiotics later we're still fighting so if you don't see an improvement right away go back to the doc. Also use diaper cream after every diaper change and lather up at night. It does a number on their tummies.

Aww, poor guy, I hope he is better really soon! Thanks for the advice!
