Im in such a funk today so I dont know if im just looking hard for a positive outlook. Ive already posted once today:/ but is there anyway that this bleeding, which is like my period bleeding, is my period? Days after my d&c. I only spotted the night of my d&c and then 2 days later started bleeding. I even feel like I do when I have my period. Im probably going crazy. But I dont have my check up appointment until the 29th and Im really needing some sort of closure. Sigh. Sorry again for the double posts today. I called into work and havent been out of bed yet.

    I had bleeding similar to this after mine. I had spotting for a few days then full on bleeding/cramps like a period. My doctor said it was normal, just some residual your body is getting out on it's own. After I passed a few large pieces of tissue (sorry, gross), bleeding went away completely. I am now about 3 weeks out and hoping for AF in a few weeks. Sorry your in a funk, hope you start feeling better soon.

    This. I am 5 days post d&c and started bleeding Saturday, passed clots yesterday and today it's almost back to nothing... Hoping you feel better soon

    Sorry for your loss!! Same happened to me, I even called the doc because it was a week later but she said it was fine and should only last 2-3 days that heavy. You could always call your doc just to be safe!!!

    I agree with MrsDeo. You also won't get your period until you hcg levels go back down. That usually takes a few days/week or more. Hang in there!

    Ditto @mrsdeo. It sounds like what you are experiencing is totally normal. I spotted for a few days after my d&c and had brown discharge for a few more. Like MrsDeo said, the general rule of thumb is 2 weeks of no bleeding before you can count it as a new cycle.

    I'm so sorry you are going through this. Hopefully the bleeding stops soon and you can put this piece of this truly wretched experience behind you.
