May be a silly question but I don't like not having control of the situation in a sense. I am not going to use an OPK for the first few months-DH and I agreed to try without. That being said, I am going crazy because with the OPK I have some control

I am going to use an ovulation calendar-is one better than the other as far as accuracy? (I know the most accurate would be an OPK) A second best I guess you could say? lol Thanks ladies.

Am I reading it right, it sounds like you're husband is in the camp of NTNP, and you would prefer to be actively trying ("control") but have agreed to NTNP for a few months?
Agree with PP, there is no accurate "ovulation calendar" unless you are entering in your basal body temps and/or other information (like Joy said). Anything that claims to be able to track your ovulation without you entering in information is total crap and not accurate.
If/when you are ready to track ovulation, Fertility Friend is the favorite around here, but you will need to enter in your BBT. Some use OPKs, but again, they do not confirm ovulation, like BBT does.
