Box of the month

No I am not trying to sell my own products , would have been fun though. All these ads keeping popping up on my facebook of box of the month clubs where each month you get a box of different samples based on your baby for x amount of money a month. Has anyone signed up for anything like that? It seems interesting. Most of my friends belong to Birchbox where they get a box of beauty product samples a month, so I thought baby products would be cool.

The ones I came across were Citrus Lane and Bluum box. Anyone belong to something like that?

We do Citrus Lane. We got in before they changed their subscription plans (so we get the original box for $21/month since I signed up for 6 months at a time). It looks like they don't give a discount for signing up for a term like that anymore.

We like it! He has really liked most of the toys they have sent. A couple of the toys have turned into favorites. They're usually along the eco-friendly lines and make a point of being super safe (phthalate free, etc).

The only thing I don't love is that they usually include one baby toiletry item - I'd rather have another toy. I have liked what they've sent, but I tend to be super picky about that stuff. They have only sent natural products though so that's nice. We got gripe water in one box (4 month), and we likely won't use it. The exception was this month's box - it had Weleda baby cream wash though (full size!), which is too expensive to buy ($17!), but I LOVE it!

I think as they get older they will be sending more food/snack type products.

It seems to be a good value - I'd suggest it if you have a little disposable income. Also, make sure you get a link/coupon code so that the first box will be half off.

We get Citrus lane and so far we like it. This was only our second month and I am not complaining.
Last month we got an innobaby teether and rattle, a little wooden rattle roller from Green tones, some snacks for baby, diva bath appliques from Boon, and some grip water. Worth roughly $37
This month he got a tug boat bath toy from Green toys, a Zoo bowl from Skip Hop, a super bib from Bumkins, Lip comfort from Pur lisse (for me), Bye bye dry skin therapy wash from BabyGanics. worth roughly $ 53

DH just said I can get two as part of my birthday gift from him. My birthday is about a week after christmas so I usually tell him to just include it in my christmas present but Im excited now!

I am going to do citrus lane and sproutkins. Sproutkins includes children books every month based on your child's age . Its about 24 dollars a month but if you think about how much 4 board books cost it seems reasonable right?

Yes this is very true. However my Mashalls seems to have the same ones all the time .. blah.

I haven't received anything that I already have yet, but since BuyBuyBaby will take practically anything as a return (without a receipt), I wonder if they'd accept something I received as a duplicate as a return? Would that be a terrible thing to do???

Also, My LO LOVES that teether rattle too. It's his fav.

O WOW sorry you guys are so offended! I edited it. No, i'm not pitching or spamming. I didn't put links or anything, but whatever. And as a matter of fact, I've had this screen name before my last one, for some reason it signed me onto this one, which I've had for 5+ years back on TK.

And I posted pics of DD because it's the holidays, and well everyone else is doing it, and I've been busy to post. I've randomly posted here and there, but I haven't made my own discussion in 3-4 months.
