  I just bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/Infantino-Compact-Shopping-Cart-Cover/dp/B004Y426XM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384807752&sr=8-1&keywords=shopping+cart+cover I haven't used it yet, but it seems pretty good. It was the "#1 best seller," and had a lot of positive reviews. The price was comparable to what I saw at BBB, plus it folds up pretty small. Some of the ones I saw in the store were really huge and seemed like they'd be a pain to carry in addition to a diaper bag.

  
  

  ETA: I also liked that it was a dark color, and a print, so it wouldn't look super dirty after using it

  Mine is a buggy bagg. It's expensive but I love the quality and that it has a very generous storage compartment so I don't need to bring my diaper bag in the store.

  I have the Balboa. I like that it folds into a self contained little bag that I can throw into the diaper bag.  It does not have a storage compartment, which I sorta don't like. But I think that makes it fold smaller so I like that.

  Same but different print. I also haven't used it. But I didn't want to spend $50 on one at BBB.

  I don't know how it wouldnt be safe. I think the handles on the carts are disgusting and I wouldn't want LO touching it.

  I'm getting it for sanitary reasons. Millions of people touch those shopping carts and it would just ease my mind a little knowing A is gnawing on her cover rather then the handle bar.   Another option is to baby wear. I carry her in my ergo sometimes. We will eventually get a cart cover though.

  I love my shopping cart cover! Not only for shopping but also restaurants... Especially since I can't use the Ergo anymore.
