I got DS to nap in his crib once a day almost every day this week. Also, DH and I left DS with my mom for the first time so we could go to a wedding. We had a blast and I looked fabulous!
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
We managed to get a full blown laugh, a lot of them during bath time last week. It was the most wonderful laugh I had ever heard. She loved that water. I can't wait for that again. I tried a few times to make her laugh but got nothing. Now I know the trick!
We have finally mastered taking LO out and about to the stores and reading her cues and preventing meltdowns. LO is getting better at self soothing and napping and sleeping without the need for a boob.
I grocery shopped, even though LO screamed THE. WHOLE. TIME.
ETA: He then fell asleep right as we turned onto our street. Of course.

"If you're still my small babe or you're all the way grown, my promise to you is you're never alone. You are my angel, my darling, my star...and my love will find you, wherever you are."
We went to the mall this weekend and she needed to be fed right before we left. So I hopped in the back seat to feed her. There was someone sitting in their car with their signals on trying to get in our spot. They didn't get the hint after a good 15 minutes that we weren't leaving anytime soon. The old me would have been really bothered and tried to rush to accommodate them. Not the mom me. I took my time, I changed her, I even took the time to put on some lip balm before pulling out of the spot.
I'm also the proud new owner of a k'tan and have been baby wearing all day. I'd marry it if I could. Why did I wait so long to buy one?

I hate how people just sit there and wait. Even before I was a mom, I would just sit in the spot. I have walked around the lot "looking" for my car just to piss people off...LOL

At least they didn't honk. If they did all I could picture is boobs flailing in the parking lot to shut them up. My boobs not yours. Lol!!!!'
I LOVE my K'tan! It's the only way I get stuff done

I told H that maybe I should roll the window down and jiggle my boobs out so the get the idea that I'm busy in there.
I ended up pumping about 8oz more than I needed for the week.
This is me too, to the very ounce! It was such a relief because that was one of my big anxieties about returning to work.
I also lost 2 lbs after having stayed the same the last 6 weeks. Idk how, we ate out 4 times last week, but it happened. Being back to work and not snacking all day probably has something to do with it...I'll take it.

I vacuumed and washed floors, cleaned the bathroom, hung up frames and shelves in LO's room, grocery shopped, and just made a batch of cookies! Whew! Did I mention I have NOT showered yet today! My lil honey has been taking good naps today so that's why I'm so productive.

Ok this really bothers me. Not you zever, you were legitimately busy. Why would you continue to occupy a space that you do not need?
We were in a spot designated for expectant mothers and mothers with strollers, so it's not like they didn't know we had a baby.
What killed me was I checked out their back seat as we left. No kids, just 2 adults. I was livid.
@Zever000 that comment quoted funny. I wasn't saying that your post bothered me. You had a legitimate reason for being there and taking a long time. What I was talking about was that Bunnyfer replied "Even before I was a mom, I would just sit in the spot. I have walked around the lot "looking" for my car just to piss people off...LOL"
We drove 3 hours each way to visit some hometown friends and family. LO did great the entire drive, even though it was just after his 2 month shots. I also breasts fed in front of my grandpa- covered up of course.
We finally DTD. LO is 10 weeks... and it wasn't too bad
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
I am so jealous!! I started a meal replacement shake diet yesterday (just breakfast and lunch with healthy snacks in between). Hoping that I can button my jeans very soon!
Made it through the airport and flight with lo without having a breakdown and throat pinching a guy for telling me I have a disability because I have a child and should board the plane priority. Asshole!
I don't get it, he told you that you have a disability because you have a child? Doesn't make any sense.... maybe he had a few too many at the airport bar?
