A new an exciting toy! I usually let her play with the wipes package- she seems to like that. I've also sunken to a new low and have my toddler come over or make my dog sit nearby so she can stare at them. Lol.
Cannot distract him for the life of me, no wonder hubbies diapers are prwtically on side ways. Whenever I comment he just says that I'm lucky there is one on him at all. I got one almost on him today without a hitch then realized it was backwards...and then LO decided its time to roll relentlessly. Do you master the art of putting on diapers while they stand up?
1. Lay baby on bed or changing table 2. get a looong piece of duct tape. Any color will do but I do find the original grey holds better 3. place over baby right below the arm pits 4. repeat #2 and place at the waist Now you should have no problem changing LO

I AM KIDDING!! Like someone else stated, a new interesting toy. I keep one certain toy by the bed (where I change LO) and he only gets that toy while I am changing his bum. Sometimes it works sometimes not so much. His present "new" interesting toy is a clean sock I was going to throw away because it has a hole in it.
Distraction is the best solution, but when you've tried that and failed I have put diapers on him while he's standing and also resorted to pinning him down with my leg. He cries but it's all over much quicker. My lo is really into flipping over and crawling away while I change him, so if he finds something he likes and holds still I can also change him in an all fours position.

Yes. I was actually going to suggest giving this a try. It may also help to do up the diaper loosely and pull it up like pants. Then tighten as needed by facing baby away from you and holding under the arms with one hand while tightening with the other hand.

WHat is it with the wipes package!? My LO is obsessed too, and so was my niece when she was a baby!
I asked this a few days ago because it's so hard! I have found success here and there with random toys and objects. The wipes package is probably his favorite!
My brother in law changes my nephew on the floor and uses his feet to pin the baby down under his armpits, it works well and my nephew thinks it is funny.

I'm fairly active reading this forum... didn't see it. Sorry for the double post!
The baby toothbrush that PP mentioned is seriously the ONLY thing that will keep her occupied. She chews on it so it's also good for her teething - double bonus!
I have also masted putting on pants, diapers, socks etc while she is on her hands and knees or standing. Not ideal but I just got so frustrated I learned to make it work
That video would be a lot more convincing if the baby was actually squirming. I will definitely try it though! Changing a diaper has become a two man job.

I do this, too. Or a baby toothbrush....for some reason he's totally captivated by it. Whatever works!
