Recommend your crib....no I am not joking

So I'll spare you the long story but basically I will find myself without a crib sometime in spring but by June for sure. Since LO is only in her crib at night I'd prefer to transition her to a new crib sooner rather than later, unless she'd be ready for her toddler bed at 12 months which I doubt. I never did any research on cribs because I knew I'd be inheriting my sisters so I was hoping to leach off your collective knowledge about cribs. What features, rules, brands should I be looking for. I would ideally like one that could transition to a toddle bed but it isn't that important. Please help! I am overwhelmed by choices!!! TIA

    We didn't do a ton of research, but are liking the Graco Rory in espresso. Reasonably priced and looks nice. Worked for us, but we weren't being picky. We got the top rated mattresses from Amazon to go with it.

    We have the storkcraft Tuscany crib. Got it off amazon. Reasonably priced. Does convert to a toddler bed (the rail seems very small though) and then to a full later.

    We got the Graco Stanton crib in espresso.  We love it and it was inexpensive and it converts to a toddler bed.

    We also have the Graco Lauren crib and really like it. I did a ton of research and this one came out on top for me.

    We have the pottery barn kendall crib. I really love it! 

    As for features, it was important to me to avoid MDF/particle board. So being solid wood was a primarily feature. Ours is solid wood, with the exception of the base for the mattress, which is metal.

    I love our Baby Mod Cadence. It's actually made by Million Dollar Baby , but their Walmart line. It came with the toddler rail included, so we don't have to mess with it later.

    Anyways, it ended up being nicer than DS1s crib we spent waaay more money on.

    You ladies with the Graco Lauren from Target must have gotten lucky because I received three different cribs from them after returning several times and they all had major flaws (horrible paint jobs/big scratches). I was really disappointed. We went with the Child Craft Euro crib and love it. It converts to a toddler bed also.

    we have the baby mod Modena. it's awesome. I was surprised to find the perfect crib at Walmart because I was very particular.
