Projectile bananas

Today started off normal and fantastic. We gave KO some bananas with ceral for his solid breakfast, his third time with bananas. Our fun older neighbors were set to watch him so we could enjoy lunch out and finally see Thor 2. Not so much, 2 hours before the movie I lay KO down on the changing pad and instantly a fountain of banana scented puke comes roaring out! He threw up 3 more times in a matter of 30 minutes, on my H, on the dog and while we were rinsing him off. We called our pedi who said there's a stomach bug going around and if he wasn't able to hold down a small amount of breast milk later to come see him. Luckily he recovered quickly and seemed to be feeling fine a few hours later. I've never seen a baby puke like that before and needless to say I'll be banana free for a while!

    I haven't started solids yet, but I feel ya on watching them puke - it's awful. LO has gotten sick twice, and I hated every second of it. I think they just get scared because they don't know what's happening. Poor babies.

    Poor baby, glad your LO is ok now.

    Bananas gave my LO horrible pains then I read bananas can do this. Needless to say I avoid them like the plague now.
