What week did you hear LO's HB ?

I am just wondering at what week some of you have already heard your LO's heart beat with the doppler ? (at home or at the Dr's )
I know it can be anywhere from 8-12 weeks but I was wondering what the average seems to be.
With DS I heard it at 8 weeks on my home doppler clear as day and confirmed by Dr at 9 week apt. But I think thats rather early so Im trying not to get my hopes up this time around.
How about you ?

The tech said that they can hear them as early as 6wks.
Baby #1 due June 5th, 2014
Edit: both were with transvaginal u/s
BFP 4/17/13, MC began 5/2/13 @ 6 weeks

With DS2 I ordered a doppler and the day it arrived (9w1d) I found it on the doppler
DS3-I found it at 7w5d
Baby#4-I found it at 7w2d
I think the biggest secret to finding it on the doppler is to start very low (pubic line) and lift your legs and do a pelvic tilt. The tilt brings baby out from behind your pelvis so that you can find them.
