Re: Meal Ideas
I'm starting to give him what I make a lot of the time. Your list looks good! I haven't given him the waffles and breads yet much or cottage cheese so those are ideas for me, thanks!
Some of his favorite meals have been:
Baked cod or tilapia and creamed broccoli
Chicken, cheese, broccoli risotto
Bland vegetable curry with rice
Mini cheese pizzas- whole wheat pita, pureed tomatoes, carrots, and green bells for the sauce, and mozz cheese
Homemade refried beans!
Beef shepard's pie
He loves soups too.

My 8 month old eats what we eat, and she loves spicy food.
Last night we had super spicy fajitas with strips of onion, gr pepper and steak on wraps. We've also done it with chicken and pork. I cover ours in the spices but hers just get a quick dip (mainly to limit the salt). She slurps the spices off and gobbles it up.
She had pizza the night before (no cheese as she's milk intolerant) it had mushrooms and peppers and sauce.
Spaghetti with sauce. The best noodles are the long skinny tube shaped ones but regular spaghetti noodles work too.
She enjoys tuna pasta casserole, basically the tube noodles with corn and tuna and various herbs/spices and olive oil.
Homemade chicken fingers with Hungarian paprika (very spicy), bread crumbs and eggs.
Oh, while teething watermelon, cold from the fridge with the rind still on was wonderful!
