I don't think my husband even knows it is in twilight. He loves it because it is a character name from Terry Prachett. He's a big gamer and one of his toons is named Esme.

I love Carter!

DH refused to talk names until we knew the sex. Her name is mostlikely going to be Emily.
He likes Emily and Brynn but strongly prefers Emily. I really wanted to name her Reese but DH is totally against it.

Our only boy name was Jacoby, and that was definitely going to be the name we used if this baby had been a boy.

Our girl names were narrowed down to Abigail, Mia, Leyla and a couple of others I can't remember now. We picked Mia. Still need a middle name...

Girl names were never really cemented because I was crazy sure it was a boy but I liked Scarlett, Darby, Reese, and ruby.
I think boy contenders were Noah (our choice), jack, Davis, and Harris.
I do love Maddox though!

but our top name we're pretty set on is Roosevelt.

We're trying to go to the hospital with a small list and name him when we see him but right now we both feel like he is our Ro!

DH wasn't very helpful with names, lol. If he had his way, we would have named him Danny or Jason Jr.

Elliott was the only name I came up with that he liked. But I was a little bit tricky there. Once I found a couple names I really liked, I started to throw out really "unique" names so he would go for one of the two I really liked, Elliott and Owen

And no agreement on a girl.
Avelyn, Charlotte, Elena, Esther or Caitlin are my top five right now.
Pauline will be her middle name after my decreased mum.

We prettying had it lined out before the second trimester. The first names were set in stone but the middle ones were up in the air.

Boy: Daegan John, Daegan Ray, or John Daegan. We had settled on Daegan John before we found out it was a girl

If we were having a boy, he would have been Rowan William.
Having a girl has made it so much more difficult. This is our list right now (which changes daily): Evangelina, Penelope, Lilian, Sawyer, and Lana.

I'm another one whose DH refused to talk names before finding out the sex. So I'll just tell you my top girl names: Charlotte, Eva, and Harper.

It's been interesting trying to get DH to agree to favorites for boys since he swears that his favorite boy name is Max (our dog's name) which is so not an option. I think at this point he is sticking to this to annoy me :P.

But ultimately I think we have it narrowed down to 3:

Benjamin, Wyatt, or Samuel. The middle name is 95% decided on and will be Claydon which is my mom's maiden name since I wanted a way to honor her (she passed away January 10th this year).

Other frontrunners for a girl have been Susanna and Jordan (Jordan is H's first choice, I don't love it), or for a boy William, Benjamin, and Miles (Miles is my first choice, H doesn't love it)
