Dumb question maybe, but is it better to try to teach your child some spanish even if you're not a native or heritage speaker, or should you just rely more on books/tv/future classes? I have taken a ton of Spanish and I studied abroad a semester a couple of years ago.. should be fluent but I'm not (sad). I have a pretty extensive vocabulary and I've learned almost all the grammar (just don't always know how to use it in some specific circumstances).. So... I just wonder how much I can really help her in learning to be bilingual..???
