Bumbo

My son is 3 months old but holds his head, neck and upper body up very well. So….I decided to test our new Bumbo and his little chunky legs :) wouldn't fit and he kind of got stuck and doesn't seem to like it at all. Now Mommy & Daddy don't like it either haha. Has anyone had this experience? Yay or Nay on the Bumbo? and does anyone know of any better options?

    Yeah we didn't get much use out of ours either. It was a hand me down so I'm glad we didn't pay for it.

    Actually we brought it out for our baby and our toddler totally got a kick out of it and loves it now (even though he hated it as a baby!). Kids' bodies change so she may like it in the future. I think 3 mo is on the early side to use it anyway.

    We have the summer infant seat. It looks like an exceosaucer but its a seat. It has much bigger leg holes and toys. We have used the same seat with all four kids and love it. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Summer-Infant-3-Stage-Super-Booster-Seat/10978943

    DD is just now starting to like it at four months. She sits up easier than a few weeks ago when she just looked uncomfortable. That said she still prefers the jumperoo or just laying on her mat.

    We have the summer infant. Started at 3 mo but it has a removable insert to use for smaller babes. You just take out the liner when they outgrow it and get more use out of it. Plus it came with a play tray and it was cheaper

    My DD has been using ours for awhile now. She's loves it! I started her using it at around 2 months old. She didn't like it at first but got over that quickly. She is a small baby too! My son was a chunk & he loved it too.

    Thank you all. I may exchange it for the summer infant seat..or the jumparoo..I like the idea of the jumparoo too :)

    We have the Prince Lionheart Bebe Pod from Babies 'R Us. Works well with DD's chunky legs.

    LO just started using it last week and she seems to love it. It's a but snug for her, so we'll probably just get a few more weeks use out of it.

    We love ours.  Have been using it since about 8 weeks.  DS likes to be sitting up and alert and my arms would need a break.  At first it was just for a minute or two, but now (3 months old last Friday, stupid siggy won't update) he loves to sit in it for about as long as I will let him. We put stuff on the tray and he loves to play with it.  I feel like we are on the medium side.   I have had a few friends that their babies were just too chubby for it.

    I don't use my bumbo very much. My son always twist himself around in it and one of his legs always ends up all crooked.
